Meet the Team
Robert Rajfer
Robert received his BA in Liberal Arts and Business Management from Indiana University and his MS in Law from Northwestern University.
Robert has worked in the supply chain / logistics industry for the past five years. Robert spent the first three years of his career at C.H. Robinson (NASDAQ: CHRW) and the following years at Flock Freight (backed by SoftBank, Google Ventures, and Signal Fire).
In conjunction with his work in supply chain / logistics, Robert is the Managing Partner of Seconds Capital LLC, a boutique micro VC.
Tyler Sala
After attending the University of Arizona, Tyler started his logistics career in 2007 working for Mountain Logistics.
The transportation and logistics company, was acquired in 2008 by Echo Global Logistics, a leading provider of technology-enabled transportation management services.
The acquisition allowed Echo to expand its capabilities in the temperature-controlled and less-than-truckload markets.
Tyler has spent the last 16 years working for a variety of companies from innovative tech startups (Flock Freight, backed by SoftBank, Google Ventures, Signal Fire) to enterprise freight forwarders (Expeditors, NASDAQ: EXPD) focusing on custom-tailored end-to-end supply chain solutions in both domestic and international freight.
Ray Blackwell
Ray Blackwell is the COO of Waggon Logistics, where he applies over two decades of diverse experience, including significant contributions to C.H. Robinson.
His expertise in managed transportation services, large account management oversight, and cannabis supply chain management has consistently driven growth and operational efficiencies.
Skilled in scaling startup ventures and leading major organizational transformations, he currently serves on Batory Foods and TLR boards, bringing valuable insights to emerging and established enterprises alike.
His leadership is dedicated to fostering inclusive cultures and sustainable business practices, positioning companies for long-term success.
Kyle Langschwager
After graduating from The University of Michigan, Kyle started working in logistics at American Backhaulers. He was attracted to the fast-paced and competitive freight industry. He gained experience by specializing in specific types of freight, such as Drop Trailers, Hazmat, and Multi-Pick and Drop. Along the way, he built strong relationships with carriers, which he sees as an important aspect of logistics.
Kyle is solution-oriented, analytical, energetic, and has a determined approach to getting freight delivered. Throughout his 25-year career, he has successfully handled over 370,000 shipments.
Outside of work, Kyle enjoys being a hands-on suburban gentleman. He is married to Erica and has three daughters. They live in the northern Chicago suburbs.
